FS: Early 260z SoCal

Hey guys on my way home Thursday some guy took a red and this was the result.

The L series still turns on.

Surface rust on hatch and rust. sand prime no big deal.

 

heres a vid i made for a potential deal but it fell so ill post it for you guys.

 

 

 

 

 

2.6L L26 stock engine

2 su Carbs

RWD

5 Speed

Clutch great about a year and a half old

tags up to date

NO NEED TO SMOG

 

Tach doesnt work sometimes

needs suspension bushing changed soon

needs rear shoes changed

 

Previous owner put an aftermarket stereo

 

6x9 kickers

old school enkei 92s 4 lug

 

redid interior vinyl

reupholstered seats

 

oil changes every 3k

mobil 1 synth

only last interior shots are a bit old cause i dont have any recent ones.

 

 

it was my first car so it wasn't reg under my name but my moms name.

this hit was not filed to insurance cause it was a hit n run and i only had liability so no money for me it was either restore or sell. and unfortunately school and work i gotta sell and get something quick.

 

so deff must replace fender and hood.

i might be able to get a hood though.

 

prob would have to tow due to the pedal sticking.

 

Im goin to price it high on purpose at 3k for the lowballers.

 

if you are lookin' for a project though i got cash on top for another car.

That looks really nasty! The important thing of course though is that you're okay.

 

Do you know whether or not that body is straight after that impact? It looks to have been quite a shunt, what with the crushed accelerator pedal and all, so my fear is that the suspension and chassis may have been damaged and not just the fenders, valence, and hood up front. I know when I had a smack up in my Roadster, we were fearful that the chassis may might have bent. If that is the case, its a tedious process trying to salvage and restore.

 

Anyway, apart from that, it looks in decent shape otherwise. Not trying to give the wrong vibes here, and I wish you the best of luck selling her.

 

If you end up running into trouble getting it sold though, there are definitely some interior and exterior parts I'd definitely be interested in. Don't really want to say that because I know I'd want the car to go in one piece, but just throwing it out there if you want to consider!

you know the driver side floor pan went up about an inch or so and i went to where i have the car stored and there is no sagging in the suspension.

I did notice though that steering wheel is facing to the left and the wheels are straight.
