That trip to the heritage museum was most excellent. Good times, wish the pics showed up in the way back. I can link it here though.

Talk about the Grand Tour! You can feel the history as you walk through and Fred has the stories to go with the memorabilia.

John, thanks for making sure we were taken care of it was good to meet you in person.

Sorry I only got a few pic's cause I was too busy listening. :D

This thing was cool, Mr K's origional inspiration for a lightweight two seater, the Smith Flyer by Briggs & Stratton.

1936 Datsun. Sweet little car, it was built in part by Bantam Motor Co. and if you know Jeeps you know Bantam. Sorta explains that Jeep Datto love thing...

This is Mr. K's secretary's car, she is showing it at the museum. Mr. K gave her this one and still has the other one.

These hubcaps are killer. When I said, "Nice hubcaps" Fred told me they used to have a warehouse full of them. They would take them off and install alloy wheels when the cars came into the dealer. All gone now though. :(

I can't believe I took so few pic's, there was a nice Bluebird SSS 510, a beautiful blue roadster. and the Patrol is super clean.

Alot of the cars are low miles. The Black 96 TT had like 400 miles or something, last one ever built.

There was another Z that has over 400k and the owner rebuilt it completely recently. Looked like a new car.

Hope you guys like the pic's I did get. If you get the chance, definitley check it out and have a chat with Fred. I learned more about the history of Datsun than I already knew (which turns out to be not a whole lot) :)

Thanks again John for coming down and hanging out... and thanks for the souvenier.

RIP Fred :)
