EI wasn't used until 1978, except in California which had it starting in '76. Dual points were only used 1970-73, long before the 200SX. A stock '77 dist WILL have that ring boss in the way. The only large-cap dists I know of that don't have the ring boss were from '74-75, and even then some '75 ones had it. All '76-77 ones had the boss. Quote Link to comment
