Wish I had pics of how bad it used to look in there still needs a lot of work and have also painted more stuff inside and out . Also patched the floors and painted them to protect it for now . DatDoug Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 I got this truck about 6 weeks ago and I almost got it where I want it. I need to put some shocks on it and I have some Charcoal colored frontier rims somewhere in Newberg OR courtesy of yelo620 to put on and I am going to pull the motor and give her a good cleaning and replace all the gaskets and seals. a new clutch kit and seals for the tranny. Str8en the front valance and fill a couple of mirror holes and give her a new coat of paint and she is done:D This is the way it was when I got her. [/img] And now minus the can O pee and the , as Kiznook so eloquently put ,"tyhe ugliest rims ever!" replaced with some nice chrome Yota 4x4 rims. Also replaced the ugly ass sl;ider with stock rear glass, the dorky mirrors with some 720 ones from the wreckinjg yard, and painted a few things. [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] Quote Link to comment
Seedy Al Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 Heres a pic of my 521 is rolling in Mitsi Pajero factory 18's Really needed to be lowered, but I ended up swapping in a deal for a 1978 Toyota Cressida So then got this Was pretyy rough when i got it, but Tidyed it up, did all the brakes etc, put in on my 18's and lowered it, and rebuilt the flat deck And no, I dont have a thing for flat decks its just really hard to find a wellsided old school truck in the county. most are rusted to hell and beyond Allan Quote Link to comment
79datsun620 Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 this was about 1996 fresh paint polished hub caps unmolested datsun. these pics are in 1998 when i tore apart a perfectly good truck (my dad says). its not much further along than this right now ten years later,but this is the year!!! now i've got a lovely wife and 3 boys and a full time job,but i'm makin time for my 1st love those stickers add hp ya know!!!
