fj40dave Posted April 25, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 25, 2012 I have a '73 FJ40 with a SM420, Toyota 3sp t-case twin stick. The 305 that was in it I didn't like.....took it out last Fall....along with the steering shaft and box. I just purchased a 67 520 (my wife's first truck from when she was a kid, her dad kept it) anyways the thing has had to have some major things done to it just to get it to run and now the carb is being a royal pain (purchased parts from a website that were suppose to work and didn't).
