CafeZX
Good evening, can anybody say if the shock absorber KONI 86-2002 - originally made for 210 Sedan & Wagon 1979-1982 510 Sedan & Wagon 1978-1981 will suit in the original strut of my Datsun 510 from 1971? Thank you!! Quote Link to comment
Datsubishi
Great info! Thanks to everybody who has posted findings. This thread will be useful to so many people. I wish I could justify new dampers, but the old ones aren't leaking (even though the rears are about a foot too long) and we have 3 other vehicles that would love something new more than the Datto needs shocks. With regard to measurements, See the pictures below I have attached. Body length seem straight forward. But where are the EXTENDED Length and the COMPRESSED Length taken from? Does the lengths include the thread and the bearing location??? Full shock pictureExtended lengthBody LengthCompressed Length I know this is old, but does anyone know what car this shock shown by rex510 is from? Or the kyb part number? This would be the perfect size shock for my b210 struts. Quote Link to comment
