Nismo1970 Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 I had a question about a wiring harness, i saw someone selling one on craigslist, and i called but he said it was for a 280/260 Z, and i need one for a 521 (duh) I hope this doesn't make me sound dumb, but are they the same harness? he explained to me that some of the parts are interchangable, and I though i'd as the ratsun community for advice, to c if this is true so i can buy it right away, or if its false and continue my search. DanielC Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 They are not the same. The 521 has 6 fuses, I think I see at least nine fuses in that harness. The 521 actually has three harnesses. The Engine room harness, the cab harness, and the bed harness. Yes, you could use parts from the Z-car harness, but the wire lengths likely will be too short, or too long. Quote Link to comment
