My taste in bikes is like my taste in cars, weird and unusual. Got obsessed with the pretty rare 1969-1971 Suzuki T125 Stinger last year. So hard to find this twin pipe 125CC engine bike.

I took a risk on one from the mid west that looked like it was pulled from the bottom of the river when I picked it up. Never seen a bike so complete and yet with almost nothing useful on it.

Then a few months later, after searching the entire country for weeks every single day, I stumbled on this two towns over from mine. Funny how that works sometimes so now I have two. And just about have a complete bike combined. THis second one is in crazy good shape. Inside of tank looks almost new. Most will clean up to practically mint. IT was a happy day when I found this. But is hasn't run in 30 years. However it kicks over and has compression, so I am hoping it won't take much.

I love this gastank. Customized BITD like some airbrush artists calling card. Flames on one side and panel job on the other.

If you've never seen one of these check out the rams horn-like twin pipes on a frontal engine with two down draft carbs. Pretty nutty!

This is how it sits now, I cut up the rusted out tank from the first bike I bought and am using it as a pan for the cafe seat on this bike.

No way I am painting over that tank, it is history, but before I found this bike, here is where Photoshop had me wandering.

And here is the best lookin real one i've seen:

Now the funny part is, who knows when I will get to it. It is sitting in my art studio as art right now, but I am hoping this spring. Oh and there is that other little part... I don't have a bike license (Yet.). But I had to put the cart before the horse. We'll get to that.

I finally had a chance to get some pictures of my wife's motorcycle. It was her Dad's & no she'll never sell it, plenty of people have asked. It's a Honda 150 Dream. I don't know what year, but it sure looks COOL! 20150119_130737.jpg20150119_130704.jpg20150119_130728.jpg

Love that old BSA!

I don't know if my wife will let me bring her Honda Dream out of storage. It was her late Father's. We have his old truck too. She was definitely "Daddy's little princess", he passed away suddenly something like 15 years ago. She's still pretty broken up about it, as you can imagine. We'll be hauling these things with us for the rest of our lives. Any help finding the parts to get them going again is greatly appreciated!20140525_182456.jpg

That D50 is nice!

It needs a complete engine. It blew a head gasket, & while the head was being resurfaced, her Dad passed away suddenly. Nobody went & picked up the head (I checked with the shop, it's gone),& it's been moved a few times. Alot of the brackets& various parts that bolted to the head & block are missing now. If anyone runs accross a Mitsubishi 2.6 4cyl, that is for sale at a reasonable price, please let me know. Thanks!

Proud owner of a 74 XL250(15hrs runtime since new), 78 GL1000(VETTER luggage/fairing), and a sweet little 78'ish Suzuki DS80(wheelie monster). The 80 is plated/street legal!!

Still don't have photobucket/ratsun upload process down. Will get it finger-d out soon.

WANT an early 65o Bonneville/trophy etc......nothing sounds like a 2cyl Triumph w/ straight pipes. Almost have goosebumps thinkin' about it! A good one will outrun/out handle most Harleys(2 heavy)!!

How she is looking now. Kind of a crap photo, I gotta take some others. Still doing some work. Wiring isn't tucked in the headlight, fender and frame need some paint, a few other things before she's finished.

Here's a couple of tanks I've painted for fun.

This is one tank, just divided in half to try two different paint schemes.

And here is the '71 cl350 cafe I'm building, very very slowly. And yes I swapped a Yamaha tank on to it, rd400 tank in fact.
