When I raced BMX in the 80 to early 90s..I was a big fan of SE Racing, had a few PK Rippers , a Quadangle, and Floval Flyer cruiser.. Then I got a sponser for Greg Hill Racing Products, and after I quit racing and then try to get back into it I got a Brakens off a friend it was a cool bike wish I still had it but got stolen...So I have pictures of one of PK Rippers, my Floval Flyer, My GHP, and My Brakens...these are all early to mid 80s bikes....wish I would have stayed with it, now I am just old and fat,....

In my status update, I alluded to me bringing home something sweet from my road trip.

Well, here it is.

EE728F35-orig.jpg

Hoffman Bikes aftermarket frame 21"

Premium 3 piece cranks

Sealed hubs. 25/9 gearing.

Shadow chain.

This used to be my frame.

Got the frame from a friend who used to ride for Hoffman.

Years after I got it, I gave to my roommate so he could ride with me.

Over the weekend, I stayed at that roommates house.

We were bullshitting.

He asked me if I still had the same bike(the one I have pictures of earlier in this thread.)

I said no, and that I sold it to buy my Datsun.

Next thing I know, he's handing me this frame and a box of parts.

There are still things I want to change, but I have a bike again.

Bigger bars, different stem, and grips to start.

But at least I can ride-if I could find my damned chain breaker!

I sold my bmx last summer. It was a Gary Fisher Hard Warp but I cant find the same model online...

Bike looked like this but was a different color.

The color on it was this:

Finally found some pictures of my old bike! I kinda miss it. It rode so smooth.

I try to ride mine a few times a week...Quick run to Safeway.....Faster than driving.

I'm also trying to get a big BMX ride going in Portland. Carlos and other Portland area locals spread the word

3rd Saturday of each month...1st one in Jan. Yeah its cold, but when I was a kid it didn't stop me.

I have a ad posted on Craigslist in Bikes for sale.
