banzai510(hainz)
....i need one and cannot afford the 50 dollar one from the part store.... Your kidding me????? Man this Datsun is in a world of hurt!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
Well, a '80 720 used the same calipers and wheel cyls as a '79, so it MIGHT work... if the lines line up. They might, they might not. Quote Link to comment
Llittle_Llama
i can afford one, but i only REALLY need the caps...mine is fine, but the caps dont seal correctly...... Quote Link to comment
Bleach
i need one and cannot afford the 50 dollar one from the part store.... Are you the same guy who bought chrome 20 inch wheels for your truck? Just look at the mounting holes at the back of it. Does it look the same as your 620's master? Just buy it for $15. Oh, and you're swapping an RB into your 240SX and a KA into your truck... you need dollaz available! Quote Link to comment
Llittle_Llama
thats why i have no money, lol. the ka will be a few months, we gotta rebuild it first.....working on the 240 today... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Spend $15 on a rebuild kit. Better than an unknown used 720 and you can say... "I did it!" Quote Link to comment
Llittle_Llama
wait....they have REBUILD KITS!!! are you effin serious!?! just go to parts store and ask for the kit? will it come with caps and shit? Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
The 720 one on eBay was new. Rebuild kits don't have caps. Just a new C-clip and piston, I believe. In fact, most remanufactured M/Cs don't come with reservoirs or caps either. Just the metal part. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I re-built one before but was a long time ago. There were new rubber cups for the pistons, springs, clips, bleeder screws, rubber boot... pretty much everything but the body, two pistons, the line fittings and reservoirs. I remember it was a tandem and I re-built it and put it in my 510. Quote Link to comment

DanielC
I am no e-bay expert, but the last time I won a bid on something I wanted, I did the following steps. 1. I got on the fastest internet connection I could find. The local community college worked for me. 2. I did not bid on the item at all until it got close to the end time. 3. I decided in advance what my limit was. 4. I waited to submit a bid, with the automatic bid higher, up to my limit option on. 5. I finally submitted my bid with less than 30 seconds to close. Good luck! Quote Link to comment
