These old trucks are geared low, and only go 45-50 mph max, 67 hp when new. If you want a modern truck, buy something newer than this! truck is usually parked at Palatine and 72nd if you want to look, email me to test drive If only you were closer! Reckon it'd cost me almost what you're askin just to come fetch it from here.... Link to comment

DatWifey
We ran by and checked it out yesterday evening. Here are a few photos that we took of it, with the intentions of posting them here in the CL thread...... but apparently this is a better place for them. :) Seems like a fair price for this little truck . Although, not to be a bitch about it, but the rust in the bed is "terminal" in my opinion. It's rusted through in the section behind the cab, as well as rusted through in the tailgate.... and, from what I could see through the window, the floor had some pinholes in it as well. And that was just peering through the window at an area that the original vinyl was missing. The floor didn't appear bad, but just some some info for someone who may be thinking about traveling to check it out. We didn't look under the hood, or drive it, just stopped by to take a quick look. Overall though, if we didn't already have two projects in our 521 and 510, we very well may have picked it up. So, aside from the ones posted on the OG CL post, here are a few more oics. gila
yes thanks Datwifey (from the current owner), good photos and fair description. You're right that the bed rust is probably terminal for the bed and tailgate at least. Floor does also have some small holes on drivers side, in the flat section, and the bottom corners of the front fenders have some bubbles too. Here's a nice tailgate: http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/pts/2647005258.html I went to put gas in it this AM and give it a car wash and the clutch died on the way home. So, now there is a new clutch master in there, bled the lines and it works great again. Price is $500 for Ratsun people--I'd rather pass it on to someone who knows these. 206-two two nine-9620 Link to comment
DatWifey
I didn't mean to put you on the spot, but I figured it was fair for someone who was asking from outside of the area to know that some of that cancer was rotted all the way through. And, at $500 now, this truck is a steal! The interior was pretty damn clean for being almost fully stock. Link to comment
