]2eDeYe
So it turned out the rear seal spring popped out during installation and gear oil was spraying on the exhaust..ewww smell to say the least. I also got a new leaf spring center pin, still need to swap that out. Was a discussion in one of datsunfreaks threads about reconfigured use of a gear oil pump. Here's how to fill quick and suck every last drop out of the container. 1 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
So I guess my output shaft bearings are toast ? Easy enough to take care of though. 2 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Here's how I am taking care of the output bearing issue. Upgrade! Advance Adapters 1-3/8" 32 spline output shaft. Aluminum housing and a new 32 spline yoke for my 1310 u-joint shaft. For comparison the stock output shaft is 1-1/8" 10 spline, this is the beef. :) 3 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
Looks like a great trip. Also looks like your dog is feeling hugely guilty after having killed a man with that knife so he's getting drunk to forget. 1 3 Quote Link to comment
