Quick update

So got kicked out of the garage so now my truck is at a coworkers house.

And I got the hood shock in its messing with the alignment of the hood so I'll have to alingment

Looks to me you need to find a shorter one like the 510 guys do.Cant beat the price though.

That one is actually perfect. The 510 guys have to place it behind the strut tower do its closer. The Location where I have it is perfect, fully extended all the way up and have about half inch of the rod befor bottoming out the shock when the hood is closed

Went to the yard to get the rims but they set the truck to the crusher:( I'm fighting to see if I can stop it on Monday to get the rims. The people there were really helpful tho

Picked up a short shifter today from Craigslist

It's bolted on already and shift smooth and well... Short lol

Also taped the holes on the hood since they were all stripped out so went with a size up 7m bolts. Hood pop shocks work great. Oh yeah I ended up sending the radiator back since it was way too tall. I'm getting an adco scirocco style radiato. 21.5 x 13 inches.

you need the bearing type collars.

To bad you cant mount that in top section so it will look cleaner.You know on the flat part like were the fuse box sits.

Yeah the don't fit I have to grind off a quarter inch. And yeah but If I mounted the shocks were te fuse goes It wouldnt work. Shock would be way too short to lift the hood.

As you can see the qa1 shock does not fit into Beebani brackets

Also, I install lift kits all the time at my work. Having to shave down bushings on shocks is the biggest offender on all the kits.

Good point my man I didn't notice that. I still got to order one shock so it'll be half berian half bushing lol

Got the wrong number for the berings on the second shock it was com8t-102pk

Got my suspension welded up today and my radiator just came in. Went with an afco scirocco style radiator.
