datsunaholic Posted September 14, 2011 Report Share Posted September 14, 2011 Being that I have a '76 KC (KHL620 vin, 1976 emissions stickers, built BEFORE August '76)... I don't know the exact month they started, but it wasn't at the beginning of the '76 model year. It was fairly late, but Nissan was known to make big changes at weird times, hence the half-year '72.5 620, the '83 720 starting out with a Z22 and ending with the Z24, and the '86.6 Hardbody. Some folks get them confused with '77s, but there are a few wiring differences that make them obvious if you know where to look (mostly the turn signal connectors). I don't think any KCs were produced during the '75 Calendar year. Quote Link to comment
