EricJB
Hey I was wondering if anyone here has, or could point me in the direction of a list of production numbers (how many wagons, stick shifts and such) for the 411sss. I would also like to know how many were imported into the U.S. Is there a registry? Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
datsun65
You can find the production numbers at http://datsuns.com under the 'Model Information' section. NOTE: You must use the Internet Explorer web browser in order to view/get-to the model information. Years ago, Carl Hockett started a VIN directory via a Yahoo group called 'Early Datsun Club'. You will need to sign-up, and be part of the yahoo group to get to the short registry of early datsuns(only 33 cars/trucks) Early Datsun Registry Quote Link to comment

"Datsun model guide" numbers total units sold: RL411UAK that's with BorgWarner automatic transmission 5335 RL411UTK That's with 4 speed on the floor 5235 So, of the total 10570 units sold, most had the automatic transmission. Not having a station wagon, I was too lazy to check out the WRL411 numbers. Quote Link to comment
EricJB
Thanks for the help. Mine is a 4 speed wagon (2853 sold world wide ?). Still curious as to how many are still alive, Probably no way of knowing. I Heard somewhere that only about 400 total made it to the U.S., but by looking at the #s that seems way too low. Greaser2
Not many people from 2011 still following I bet. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
More like 6000 WRL411 wagons imported into North America. Most were Borg Warner auto transmissions. By now does anyone care ? 400 number is [mis]quoted in order to create illusion of scarcity and drive up the price of units offered for sale. Quote Link to comment
