this is an impressive vehicle !!! keep on doing a good job on it - it'll turn out a million bucks!

to be honest for air tools the only brand thing i have here is SP tools and Dynabrade - and our rattleguns are just an ebay no name brand and do the job well.

that said if you buy good tools they should last you a lifetime...

Mike didn't replace/buy any door rubber/seals in the NL, I guess I bought it to soon. All of it needs replaced, but my wingwindow seals are in the best shape, I deffinately need door seals and squeegees soon, as they both are shot.

Yep...the windshield gasket was the only rubber I replaced....it came from Scott's Old Auto Rubber.

ok guys so i started to try and lower the front tonight buy taking out the torsion bars? then jacking up the wheel and the arms and putting the tortion bar back in and tighting it up .

is there a better way to do it?

You can loosen the nut on the front side of the lower control arm. This will help take some of the tension off the splines making it a little easier to get the link arm off and back on. Put a little grease in there to help keep it from rusting.

I got my headlight rings straightened and rechromed for $80 a piece which sounds like alot, but the local shop triple plates everything and did the metal work too and has a lifetime guarantee on their work. They are perfect, I also made the mistake of buyin the cheap ones like the both of u....im not even gonna tell u how much $$$$ I have in gettin my 65' grill fixed and dipped.......

that thing is like car porn . the colour sets it off. looks realy good. he have any datsuns?

I think if it had proper hubcaps it would be perfect for what it is. Very rare car over there, getting rare over here also. He doesn't have any datsuns, he likes chevys, but he found a 64 datsun L320 recently on some gumtree site over there, he was looking for chevy utes, which he found a 1950, that guy also had a 64 L320 for $400.00, don't beleave it ran though, my friend has been looking for a U320 for me, but Zeke keeps snagging them up.
