datzenmike Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 Seattle to Sacramento is 1,000 Km (sorry) 600 miles each way. Thats about 11 hrs 20 min @ 55 mph. Easily done in a w/end. Can you expect 25 mpg? from your car or can you borrow something better for a road trip? 25MPG would be 25 gal each way. What's gas down there? Say $3.50 to be safe? That's $87 each way, pack a lunch and that's about $100 each to trade trannys. Hell rent a Yaris or whatever and get 40 Mpg. Each pays half the gas or meets half way and problem solved. Mmmmm 5 spd!
bonvo Posted March 27, 2008 Author Report Posted March 27, 2008 only problem is i have no ride the tranny is out of mine right now and no cash to rent a yaris O_O 55? the speed limit here is 65 hence why i want a 5 speed:D i wonder how much shiping would be ill check tomorrow :P
