Stretch Bolts
Hey guys, my name is Anthony and this is my first Datsun. Here's a shot from the rear: It's complete and I will be updating this thread with things that I have done to it. I plan on leaving it mostly stock for now. I have started to restore the paint on it, and will have more pictures when I get done. I figure it will take about a case of beer and two packs of Marlboro reds to get this thing presentable and on the road. Quote Link to comment
skyblue
it already looks pretty presentable. I would ditch the rear bumper though. Quote Link to comment

Stretch Bolts
gives me motivation to buff out mine... looks good

It's really not that hard. I'm going into it more than you would need to to make it look nice, but I plan on using this as a work truck for auto detailing, so I want it to look nice and glossy. I have found that Meguiar's Ultimate compound works the best (even though it's a consumer level product) and you can use it by hand with a foam pad. Just make sure you wax it when you are done or else it will look chalky again rather quickly. 2 Quote Link to comment
