Can someone hook a Datsun brother up?

Recommended Posts

I basically need a whole front end of a 520. Fenders, Hood, Valance and grille. Any idea where i could get this. Datsuns arent to popular around here, so junkyards really wont have what i'm looking for.

If you have any or all of this, or know a company that makes repos, let me know.

Thanks,

Kenny

At this point, i'm ready to pay the shipping charges to get some decent straight panels. Put it this way, I've NEVER seen a Datsun in person in MD before i bought mine. They just arent around. Which is pretty cool, but also kind of a bummer when it comes to getting parts.

I will keep an eye out on C's-list and ebay though.

Anyone, know of a company that make reproduction body panels?

Bummer. I've done a ton of google searches on repro stuff too w/ zero results for datsun trucks. 120 seems kinda high, but if its the only way i can get it, i guess i have no choice.

Heh try living in New England Kenny! I think there are only 2 ratsun guys in the whole state. And a 520? Heck I think Drastic has the only 520 I've heard of on the east coast!

Go to Craigshelper.com and search eastern cities and be prepared to travel for your parts.

If you do need the whole front end for a 520 it sounds like you would be better off searching and waiting for a new 520 or 521 to pop up.

I hate driving in the snow! Thankfully I work in a studio in the house so my only commute to work is a set of stairs.

My 521 is gonna have to stay locked up in the garage during the winters, all the salt (trucks) around here would eat it like teenager staring at a plate of Big Macs!

To this day I have only drivin it in my back yard once and I managed to do that one day before the first snow fell.

Can't wait for spring! (Or a heated Garage someday!)

I think Kiznook posted the Utube vid of him hacking the bed up, then I seen an "almost" thread on nissan customs.

I think the the few of us (NL guys) should all know each other.

All these 510 and 620 guys get all the comradery.:fu:

That's in pretty good shape. If it wasnt for the fact i just bought mine, I would look in to it.

I talked to a friend of mine who does body work and he said the problems on my trucks front end are repairable, just easier if i could find replacements. It's mainly some light rust and bondo. But i will for sure need a new front valance. Its really bent up. Any one have one???

I'm in Baltimore. What area are you from?

Odenton, so while I'm not that far away, Baltimore covers a pretty large area. I'll try to help when I can if you need it.
