Shagy
So for the Eagle Rock swap meet I was going to buy some headlamps to sell. I have to buy 1 case at a time and cannot mix types. So what I want to know is which would be more popular? THESE ARE GLASS These are for a H4 conversion - replace your sealed beams. I'm going to be buying them this week.. Here is a pic of the lamps...you can see both in the picture. Closest one is obviously the flat style, and the OEM style next to it. Thanks for looking. Beam Pattern Quote Link to comment

Laecaon
Not a fan of the flat. Looks funny, but if it gives better light output... Any chance you know where to get clear (no ripples) 5.75 inch lens for lights? Glass or plastic should work... Quote Link to comment
Logical1
I picked up a set of the Flat style halo's and I love how they sit flush with my grill  Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
I have chosen stock-look Halogens. Don't like the flat look myself. Quote Link to comment

Hardwyre
DIY HID headies using the euro-style H4 housings! Screw what the critics say, I like 'em! Halos came with the lights, might as well use them. White balance was off, these are pure white; no "JDM YO!" blue for me. Quote Link to comment
DanielC
They are hard to get, and expensive, but worth it. Cibie European code lamps Quote Link to comment

808DA6
I prefer the rounded, OE shaped lights as well, but if highs and lows are all changed to flat it doesn't look too bad. IMHO. -B Quote Link to comment
DanielC
You ask "Which lamp would you like" I answer, "They are hard to get, and expensive, but worth it. Cibie European code lamps" And them you tell me this. "yes..but this is not what this thread is about. Its about what i CAN get at the moment. " If you need something immediately, go to an auto parts store and buy some stock type headlamps. there are many choices. 1 Quote Link to comment
Shagy
I'm sorry, I thought I made it clear in the OP that I was only talking about the lamps lised in the photos. Cibie was not an option in the poll either. I will be selling Autopal lamps. I found out 30 min ago that I DO have access to Cibie's but I'll make another thread about that later. I'm not personally looking to replace something..I'm going to be SELLING these.... Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Autopal and neolite are about the same. Dont know if they have the Z cut off or not but that is mostly the bulb i think http://classicgarage.com/534rounhealb.html cibie/Hella/Boesch !!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
Shagy
Z cut off? usually the cut off is desinged into the lamp. I posted a picture above of the beam pattern. I'm going to try to get some pics tonight of how they look "while driving". Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
never get a Plastic Lens!!!!!!!!= Junk fades ect.... catches on Fire!!!!!!! Yes it fades, but is easy to remedy. As for catching on fire, where did you hear about that? I have never heard of a car headlight catching on fire because it was plastic... Oh and really plastic headlights dont even melt! datrod
How much for a pair of the flat ones? I have flat yellow high beams. And round stock low beams. Let me know. I'll pick them up at Eagle Rock. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I like flat ones because they are different. One look and you know there are some serious lights on a car. Quote Link to comment
Shagy
I used to see the flat ones on a lot of peoples cars, but either they couldnt find them any more or tastes changed. I'll be bringing the round ones and I'll special order the flat ones for people that want them. Quote Link to comment
