Meltor Posted June 14, 2011 Report Share Posted June 14, 2011 I just bought an 81' 720 and after 2 days the passenger hub is shredded. I have tried every parts store in my area and there is nothing for a 24 tooth spindle. Does anyone know where to find this part new? Should I just get a used one? Is there an option to just change out the spindle? I am willing to try anything short of going straight axle. I am going to check out an 81' at a junk yard to see if i can get a used one. Used, contact Sealik up in Canadac... http://community.rat...er/2344-sealik/ I doubt there are any new ones around. The 720 is 30 years old and the dealer will have thrown that shit out. Lockleaf Posted June 15, 2011 Report Share Posted June 15, 2011 Parts for the hardbody are easy to find. Try junkyarding a spindle and cv halfshaft and see if u can get that to fit. before 90 they are a 27 spline and after they are 28. I know mile marker makes a hub for both Quote Link to comment

I know mile marker makes a hub for both is there a CV half shaft that will work in place of the 81 datsun? i have been looking everywhere and i cant find one. cant even find the whole drive axle. this is the only thing i am in need of to get my truck on the road again Quote Link to comment
