S13Steve
1st post! Just picked up a '73 610 2-Door! This is my 15 year anniversary with a Datsun. My first was a 710, that I ran into the ground at 19 years old. Bought this from original owner. 90k on the motor, fires right up and is certainly a sight for sore eyes.More pics to come in the following days. He also gave me a couple of boxes of randomness. a new starter, odometer console & LOTS 'O MANUALS! (plus what looks like some VW and 85 Maxima stuff) Firstly, I want to replace the cooling system, as it seems to run a bit on the hot side (I am in AZ, so this could be the first issue). Any advice, pointers and guidance is welcome, as I am not the best of wrenches but plan to learn a lot from this experience. Wow that's awesome. I live in AZ too (Phoenix to be exact). Did you find it locally or did you have to travel? Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Now your profiling. Canadians... apologetic, bacon eating, bland politics, no guns, commie (socialist) free health care, rough roads one week out of the year in summer and snow the rest of the year. I'm so sorry for you not knowing that we have paved roads up here!!!! and that some parts of Canada are at the same latitude as northern California? I feel it's all my fault for keeping this a secret from you but right now I have to be excused to go to the hospital to take care of this small burn from the bacon grease this morning. danfiveten
For those of you who hate your wood grain dash, got this idea from a guy on 610 facebook page, and it worked perfectly. Bye Bye Wood Grain, just finished what i was doing. around 25 bucks, 15 for cf wrap, 4 for chrome door trip, and 5 for the adhesive. Also wrapped my clamshell because it was cracked all down the middle. Came out very nicely . Happy at how it looks now. 610 is feeling mroe like mine finally. Finally starting to feel better since the hospital stuff af ew months ago. So ncie to start working on it. 2 Quote Link to comment

NannaB
Hi guys. This is my 180B that I bought about a month ago. I've had a couple over the years, last one about 10 years ago. I guess I just missed that feeling you get from driving a Datsun and had to get another one. I must say it's a little harder finding one these days. First 2 pics are when I picked her up, the last is how she sits now. 2 Quote Link to comment
