DatWifey
We're trying to get mklotz's front brake swap done on our 521 before Canby, and the set of hubs that we pulled from a 620 may not be machinable for the bearings to sit properly, so there's a possibility that we'll need to find another set that are in good condition quickly. I'll know for sure by this afternoon, but figured I'd throw up a feeler until we know for sure to at least get the ball in motion. We're willing to pay expedited shipping too if you've got a set that you're parting with and are not in the Seattle area. Link to comment
flatcat19
Klotz makes a bearing spacer to use 620 bearings on your 521 hubs. How is the hub not machinable? I'm confused. Link to comment
DatWifey
We pulled a set at the junkyard and it looks like someone beat the fuck out of the back of them. The machinist got them from me this morning and wasn't sure that he could press them to house the bearings I dropped off with them. He's concerned that the pounding might have warped them. They don't look that bad, but he wasn't sure how it would work out, and won't know until later this afternoon. Link to comment
