Okay, so this is not a Datsun, but I was very excited to buy this from Walmart. I really hope they come out with more.

I used get these model kits as a kid back in the early 90's.

The name must have been bought or something because they have been making some nice cars. Pretty good quality for 1/64 scale. I have a few of their cars.

Was out and about south of here looking at “brand new”  Dewalt  batteries on OfferUp and the dude noticed my Ratsun hoodie.. 

 

says he has a couple hot wheels boxes and would sell .. I’m like “how much?” 
 

$20. for both 

 

I didn’t really want any hot wheels at that price but I said I would look at them ..

 

I had seen them in Walmart but I was way too cheap to spend that kinda cash on them. 
 

Now I’m not sure how he got them out , most likely stuffed down his shorts ,,, but who am I to question an artist .

Middle sons girlfriend goes to Tokyo Japan most winters now that her grandpa is so old (93) and bought me these for Christmas.  

 

I get they aren't worth much more than Walmart bought ones ,, and "you can buy them on Ebay"  blah blah woof woof --  but i think they are pretty cool , and directly bought for me in Tokyo at the Jay-A-Pan company.

 

Just in case you're ever in Tokyo ,, her grandpa is an avid John Wayne collector ,, if you get my drift.

I also got a fleet of Lotus Cortinas ,, and GT40s from a trip to White Swan,,  to visit an old friend  that is now a crazy Freeman ,, no pics ,

The 1200 pickup needs to be dark blue like the Skyline and it would look very familiar.. haha

 

 

 

i can't think of what they are called but they have that distorted roof style in most  every popular Hotwheels .

I was at Tumwater Fred Meyers last night and there was a ton of bronze Skyline,  and 240z cars there  .. So i assume all Freddies have them,  or in back room somewheres.

My Brother found me some at the local Vons here in San Diego! So they seem to be a mostly grocery store item.
