ScubaT
Who has a set up like this? and how do you do it?! Heres an example Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
cut off a stock shift lever just above the pivot, and have your new shifter welded on just above the pivot on the old shifter.... Quote Link to comment
Siqx20
Whats with that airbag? 0.o Quote Link to comment
Sealik
I've buried better looking "shifters" in concrete....   Quote Link to comment
HRH
Yeah, that's just asking for trouble. Between being in an accident and having that rammed through your windpipe, or that fact that the heavy sonofabitch will end up harming your transmission, I'd just stick away from that kind of shenanigan. And so help me, different color, but this looks like the pos 620 rust bucket of which there are so many threads about. *Gag!* Quote Link to comment
darrel
There' are two airbags. Quote Link to comment
uieluck
No no,, more like what's with the Spanish on the door panel!? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Same Caddyhack 620. Truck was red and still is ... inside. The air bags are some teck nightmare cantilever system for laying frame. I don't know what is more unsafe.... being in it, or being a pedestrian in the same state. No windshield, mirrors, seat belts, e brake..... (on and on) Quote Link to comment
Skib
I thought we all agreed to let this thing die out? Quote Link to comment

Throttlehead250
I don't know what is more unsafe.... being in it, or being a pedestrian in the same state. haha thats pretty good! i agree though, looks like someone wanted to make a hack and did a pretty good job of it. Quote Link to comment
villegs
It's just the whole Ratrod fad, 'lets throw some poorly designed shit together and drive it around' If it was made from some extruded aluminum or something nice maybe, but it rusty re-bar, wtf would you want to replicate it? Sorry if you into that style but, I've seen too many, Most of those cars are horribly unsafe and should be buried, covered in concrete & lead. Then let's hope the 'style' doesn't leak out and cause further infections. Quote Link to comment
villegs
And the door panels appear to be covered in coffee bags, the stuff is shipped in giant burlap sacks, some people(my weird aunt and more) collect them, also some of the military packrats like 'em too, they have some yet to be discovered use.
