So this is the front of the bed

repair possible????

donor beds are few and far between in my neck of the woods

thinking of finding a bed or piece of one and cutting the front part of the floor and front wall off and welding it into the place of this

looking for any ideas of how to fix this kind of problem?

as always thanks ...

Find a bed and cut a 6" strip off the top edge of the front from side to side. Flip it over and set over the bottom rusty area to cover it and weld in place. Cut a strip off the corrugated bed floor and do the same. I didn't do this, but this was my plan. It doesn't have to look perfect as you can't see it from outside anyway.

My truck sat for about 8 years with wet leaves and or jammed between the cab and box.

The damage was mostly to the upper bed wall.

Not nearly as bad as yours... but...this is what I did.

Might give you some ideas.

i was thinking of the same thing

there has got to be someone out there with a notch and extra metal laying around in the back yard ...

wonder if something like a toyota bed (or a newer model nissan) will match up with the ribs
