INDY510
. I think that red car has 16" rims ...... . .. maybe??? ....... NorCalDime's old car had 15x8 +0 002s .. .. and I think 280zx struts: ..... . looks like 195 tires though Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Probably going to find any pictures like that. Guys tend to want to put the widest tire they can use on. Smallest I have seen is 175/55/15 on a 15x7. If you are running something besides the stock motor, get wider wheels. Quote Link to comment

Icehouse
I had the 165 45 15's on the Gobstopper car, 15x7 Panasports. They looked to small in the wheel wheel to me.... The car has to be REALLY LOW! and they still don't quite fill the wheel well right. Dillon's green car has 195 45 15's and I think they are about the best size for a 7" rim. They would probably look good on an 8" rim to. Quote Link to comment
FiveTenzo
I had the 165 45 15's on the Gobstopper car, 15x7 Panasports. They looked to small in the wheel wheel to me.... The car has to be REALLY LOW! and they still don't quite fill the wheel well right. Thats what i was worried about, looking to small for the wheel well. but the gobstopper actually looks nice with 165/45 i think i might go 165/45 after all, since i am going to go low. Thanks everyone. Quote Link to comment
Icehouse
I have the same size tires as Dillon does on the back and it looks WAY better. I should try and snap a picture this week. Quote Link to comment

daniresch
I wouldn't want to daily a 165/45 on a 15x8. Ride is going to be harsh and will handle like poo. and if the wheels are nice i'd be worried about bending them, especially if your running aggressive camber. psi would have to be 40 minimum sourcing 165/45's is also a pain. but if it's just a show car then it wouldn't matter. 195/45 toyo t1r's would yield a much better ride and look great on 15x8's Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
toyos are expensive in the 195/45 if they still make them. I heard they were going to stop making them I got some cheap Korean Nexens in 195/45/15 mail order,I think they were under 60$ apc shipped to the house. add mounting and bal at the tire shop. greengoon and datto510 on here run some 175/55s on there 15x7 ROTAS Quote Link to comment
