Well any coloring will reduce the lighting and you will see less. Yellow lenses are not just yellow but are also tailored to direct the light in wide beam but not very tall vertical. Sort of like shining through a horizontal slit. This reduces light being reflected back from fog and rain. Fog lights a made this way using yellow that penetrates better than white light. Yellow fog lights are actually useful in fog and rain, but just like spoilers, now-a-days it's all about looks not function. Orange headlights??? No one makes them for the four lamp round system. If I was so inclined I would get a clear orange and spray them.
