king bee66
I hope not so wide you will have to fab new hangers and shackles? Im not sure of the spring width, and Im not going out to measure meow, but you COULD, if you HAD to, go to Tractor supply, buy a couple of trailer springs the correct width, toss the main spring, and add to your existing spring stack. im going to use the stock hangers and shackles from the 710, im not sure if youve ever noticed, but the ones that came on the b210s actually tapper inward, from the car, to accommodate narrower leafsprings. so they should be a perfect fit, although it got a little to dark for me to get a good look... ggzilla
Adding heavier suspension is not the best way to improve it. If it is sagging why not just fit good stock springs to fix it? Quote Link to comment
king bee66
these were only 30 for the pair. besides, ive never heard of anyone having a smooth ride in a b210, ive noticed a lot of people using leafspring helpers or lifts to help add some clearance. since they should fit, i decided id give it a shot Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Maybe I misunderstood your comment about bad suspension and riding on the bump stops. If it sags, the springs are worn out or somebody tried to lower it incorrectly. Most B210s do not sag in the back (ride on the bump stops). The reason all B210s do not ride smooth is: Light car compared to heavy unsprung weight. If you put sandbags in the back it rides smoother (assuming your springs are like stock). But then your acceleration gets slower. Quote Link to comment

I had noticed on mine the angled rear shackles...I didnt know if you grabbed the shackles and front spring hangers with the springs. Anyway, shackles are the easy part, the hangers could be a bit of a pain to fab. Are the measurements the same front spring eye to center spring bolt? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
The shackels widen out at the top to fasten to the large chassis mounting rail. Quote Link to comment
king bee66
i was able to have a nice look at it today, and unfortunately i am going to have to fab something to get them to work after all. the stuff i got off of the 710 is a little to beefy for my little b210 chassis. i dont think its beyond my skill level though. Whats the spring width, and do the factory hangers bolt to the framerail or a plate off to the side? Quote Link to comment
king bee66
they bolt into the frame rail, the 710 springs are 1 1/2 inch. with the bushings installed, the leafsprings and the frame-rail should be about flush with each other Quote Link to comment
Kramer1981
this any help? Might save you from having to fab as much, and three ride height choices Quote Link to comment
king bee66
still working on the suspension. Quote Link to comment
king bee66
had a blow out in my altima and swerved to the curb hard the result the left driveshaft was pulled back pretty far, fingers crossed it didnt absorb any of the damage Quote Link to comment

king bee66
finally got around to doing something about the leaf springs heres what i was working with 710 vs b210 working... and if the test fist goes ok, ill proceed to trim them up and paint them Quote Link to comment
king bee66
For having never done anything like this before, the test fit went better then I expected Will probably need some farely large lowering blocks, though. Unless I decide to flip one of the springs, I remember reading that can help bring it down Quote Link to comment
