bluecollar83
Bare with me, I am still learning about my 620, and i was wondering if long beds can be swapped out for short beds and vise versa, or are the chassis diff. Quote Link to comment
Zeusimo
You Will Need To Lengthen Or Shorten Chassis And Driveshaft That Is All  Quote Link to comment
bluecollar83
thank you for the fast post, and that was not the answer i was hoping for, oh well though. i was wanting to upgrade my front end ( suspension, steering) what are your thoughts i don't know where to begin for it, your knowledge is much appreciated Quote Link to comment
izzo
No, long bed with long b ed, short bed with short bed, and king cab with king cab... Front suspension upgrade, there is someone on the forum here that makes a coil over kit for the front. you can use hardbody or 720 rear leaf springs for something stiffer... Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Kingcab bed is the same as a short bed :) The long bed and kingcab share the same frame with different body/bed mount locations. New shocks, bushings, balljoints and steering components, with an alignment, should get the frontend in tip-top shape. You can install a '77 620 sway bar to stiffen it up in the corners. I'm fairly certain it just bolts with the factory standoffs. Any upgrades from there involve fabrication. Quote Link to comment

They are different... on the KC beds the wheel well sits further forward. Quote Link to comment
