datzenmike
What motor? CA/VG/Z/L Link to comment
datzenmike
The Z24 is a truck motor so a Z24 oil pan won't be a front sump. A Z20E or S or Z22E car oil pan will fit the Z24 and work just fine. Is this an S110 second generation 200sx? I ask because a Z24 swap makes sense. If into a first generation 200sx you will need more than an oil pan. Link to comment
620racer
I am really not sure, I think it's a 1985 Link to comment
datzenmike
Need more info. What vehicle is it going into? Year? To ID the motor look just below the #2 spark plug on the driver's side of the block. May need a flashlight and wire brush to see it. Link to comment
620racer
installing z-24 motor and I believe the car is 1985, had motor hanging in there, almost fit just need clearance on steering link(rear steer) truck pan does not clear. Link to comment
datzenmike
Hmmm the S12 ('85 200sx) never came with a Z series motor so this must be a swap. Need much more info. Does it have a matching Z series transmission? Do you have the Z motor mounts for it? Link to comment
620racer
It's a swap. old asphalt race car now going to the clay ovel, sold car but do not want to give up any L motors. I'll make mounts and change bell, later when the rookie learns to drive Ill put 219 head and change bell and motor mounts back. Link to comment
