datsunaholic Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 I've seen some desperate (and well funded) folks spend $500 for a uncracked dash. They're next to impossible to find, and even harder to keep that way. That black vinyl just soaks up the heat. My folks' '73 dash was the grand canyon by 1979. My '78 dash is covered with carpeting, because it has chunks missing.
