There was 2 sellers on Ebay recently.....price was 20-23 bucks.

That was the cheapest I could find.

If interested I might be able to find his email address.

nissanparts.cc has them for 28 dollars a piece. Yeah right. Is anyone on here willing to sell me a set?

If you have the old ones re-condition then yourself. 1500 wet sand paper, sheet of glass and a kitchen sink.

Woah, weird I didnt even consider that.. What do you mean by a sheet of glass? Ill be doing alot of reconditioning parts so Ill see what I can get otherwise ill do this

have you done that before mike?

the seat of the rocker is super hardened metal. Iv been taught by a well respected L head builder to just get good ones and ones that are to far gone (with a big wear dip in them) are just no good

Ya...same here :D

You need a hard flat surface...ie... glass

Lay some 1500 on the glass and roll the rocker on it, in the sink...with some water.

Someone can explain in more detail.

I just read a thread on the technique involved....somewhere here.

The guy also reconditions them for 10 bucks a pop???

Well I agree with you on that. I want to make sure everything is done right. I havent seen the seats yet on the ones ive got so Im not sure if they are useable. Yeah i just assumed replace everything so I need to take a look

I think Todd@ Wolf Creek Racing reconditions them.

There was another place but the link dont work anymore. was like 70$ for a set.

I tried to find that thread in this forum....but no luck.

My rockers are in pretty good shape....but I'll still roll them on some 2000 to remove the 'old wear' pattern

Yes they are hard. Usually not much wear on them anyway. I've swapped them between heads and they work just fine. Yes they have the original cam pattern on them but microscopic. If you swap old rockers it isn't going to grind away the next cam surface and destroy it. Yes it will have to 'wear in' big deal.

By all means polish them down (if in good shape) to get rid of the old pattern way.... cheaper than buying new, or likely old ones that were polished anyway. Save the money. The glass just gives a flat backing surface for the sand paper. Fuck if they are $20 each I'm a millionaire!
