Jayden71
Get a peanut head if you can. But, who am I to give advice on that, I spent $$$$ on a 210 head and plan on puttin a weber on it   . I just make do with what I got :D Quote Link to comment
69FJWagon
dont even bother... and if they are 45 Mikunis (most are 44s)they dont really work all that well get another head and run a set of 40mm Mikunis Quote Link to comment
inline4
This is mainly for the roadster and I still need to find a manifold...., but I was going to pick up an extra so I could sell my L16 with it. errr actually they are 44's. I'm tracking down a pair for my U20. is 400 a decent price? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
44mm is too big for a stock-type L16. Use the Mikuni 40. With the 44 you'll get good top end, but not as smooth and not as economical. To be sure, it will run OK, but the 40 will be overall better. Of course it all depends on the venturis installed in each Mikuni. But 44s usually have much larger ones that 40s. For a 2.0 liter, the 44 will be good. I have twin 40s Mikuni/Solex on my Datsun. A single flows about 98% as much as twins. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
L16 with smog head???? The only head referred to as a smog head is the W-58. But in any case a W58 or U67 or several other L209B heads have a huge combustion chamber and when used on a small L16 results in a 7.85 compression. The only head to run on a stock L16 is the small 210 head. Quote Link to comment
inline4
its an N58 head. If I recall, isnt that a smog L20 head? Quote Link to comment
exit64
Here's what you want for your U20. I have seen these in person and drooled all over them. These are truly a bolt on and go setup. Don't whinge about the price, just sell a kidney or head down to the plasma center. We are all junkies in our own way. These are man jewelry to the first degree. Hands of Dan Garrison have been in every nook and cranny on this set so they are 100% correct in every way. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/pts/2214503700.html Quote Link to comment
