jbirds510
I recently picked up a 72 longroof from a super cool dude in Chico Ca named Chad (blue wagon) but it is very very stock and I have access to roadster rear leaf springs and I see they are much flatter and I was wondering if anyone was running them in the 510 to get it lower or if its even possible without too much modification? I really dont want to buy the springs if they arent gonna work for me. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Measure the lengths (along the curve) if close it should work. Another method is drop blocks mounted between the spring and the spring perch on the axle. Less work and the springs stay the same rate. However a stiffer spring may be more desirable to prevent a lowered body from bottoming out. Quote Link to comment
