denmarkboy
Ask cheech and chong about the value of a van with no Windows ! Priceless ! Good thing datsun never made a van back then, we would have all kinds of weird shaggin wagon's ..lol 2 Quote Link to comment
Rhino13
They did make a few "vans", they all just look like 2 door wagons! The 120y van is pretty weird looking. Once they started doing Datsun by Nissan they produced the Vanette, and they're badass. 4 Quote Link to comment
skyblue
cool van. cleaned and polished what i could and slapped on the bumperettes i got at Canby. They don't look too bad. left one has a bent bracket so it sits a bit low but for $50 can't complain. The chrome is toast on both so they won't stay on for too long. I got another set from mrbigtanker that are a lot nicer and will go on as soon as i get some new chrome bumper bolts. 10 Quote Link to comment

skyblue
Driveline or carrier? I'm thinking its the pinion angle. i have a balanced one piece drive shaft with brand new u-joints. its a lot better since the kingpins were swapped. but there is still a low rumble that bugs the shit out of me That fuckin bigtanker he could of sent you those bolts.Send them back.lol hahaha. Napa didn't have the right size. they only had 7/16 and i need 5/16. Hardware store had them but in SS. They weren't shiny enough. plus they had letters on the dome. I found some chrome ones on Jegs.com. should be here later this week. 4 Quote Link to comment

bananahamuck
you can polish stainless just like you polish aluminum ,, it just takes a helluva lot longer. results are very close to the same though... Stainless won't corrode like aluminum so you wont have to keep polishing all the time either. 1 Quote Link to comment
skyblue
I have yet to christen the cabin. Lol I thought about polishing the SS bolts but even polished I feared they would have slightly different tint than the chrome. I don't have OCD. I swear. Lol. Chrome ones should be here Friday. 2 Quote Link to comment

skyblue
Finally got the bolts on. But they were kinda low quality. The threads were totally uneven and the brand new nuts wouldn't even screw on. So I cleaned them up with die. Anyway here's some pics. 7 Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
Nice and the bolts are chromed so when it gets on threads it does look crappy. But looks good on the truck. 2 Quote Link to comment

skyblue
Oh. Lol. There's supposed to be a light right there but the cover is missing and so the wiring is just dangling. Annoying but I don't know what to do with it. 1 Quote Link to comment

Annoying but I don't know what to do with it. I would remove the camper, that will fix that problem. But seeing that you wont remove the light and find something that will match up to take its place. 2 Quote Link to comment
