Datsun411SSS Posted February 10, 2011 Report Share Posted February 10, 2011 I am selling my running R16 motor off my 1967 Datsun 411 SSS. This is the same motor found in the Datsun Roadsters 1600 from the same years. Im selling it complete with the 4 speed manual transmission. It has been daily driven for about a year with no problems. It has a brand new clutch and recently rebuilt head. Im including the SU carbs and everthing, this is a complete swap. . Reason Im selling it is due to going to swap a newer fuel injected motor in it. It is still in the car and the car is still being driven. I want the buyer to see the car running before I remove the engine from the car. Ive driven it to long beach with no problems what so ever.. Transmission shifts fine with no grinds. I am located in the San Fernando valley off the 405 fwy. . $450 obo . im not sure if the price is high or not but thats where i started it at. If too high, someone let me know whats an average price for this swap. Link to comment
