I've run everything through it. My 10yo learned to shoot with the P10 and groups better than I do already. Quote Link to comment

dimlight65
I stopped in at my doctor recently and didn't leave my daily carry in the car. When he wanted to check something, I remembered and asked if he was ok with it before removing my shirt. He was. Living in Texas (AKA not Austin or dallas [lower case intentional]) is pretty nice. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Dguy210
Went to probably one of the best firearms exhibits I've ever seen today. Organized roughly chronologically by various wars. This is only a small taste of what they had, including a large amount of Imperial Japanese firearms too from pistols to heavy machine guns...this isn't even including the artillery pieces, armored vehicles, or tanks they had outside. 1 Quote Link to comment
Cardinal Grammeter
...reminded me back in the 60's could get a Lahti 20mm Anti-tank for something like $78 complete w/20 rounds. 1 Quote Link to comment

frankendat
The suppressed .45 carbine (I guess it could be a bastard 9mm) is awesome. I have heard them shoot, with subsonics the sound of the action is louder than the bang. Quote Link to comment

I pick on the 9mm and honestly do not prefer it, but there is evidence it is not a terrible round. The problem here is the 9mm, being lighter bullet weight, must use more velocity to generate power, but you don't want to break the sound barrier when trying to be covert, as that greatly diminishes the effectiveness of a suppressor. The suppressor will still "change" the sound and the sonic crack will be difficult to pinpoint. I would prefer an encased action, or single shot, a heavier subsonic cartridge e.g. .45 and a suppressor. If your within pistol distance, then your within 50 yards, probably more like 10, ultra quiet would be better. Quote Link to comment
Stinky
Where is that museum? It reminds me of the tank museum that used to be at Abeerdeen Proving Ground. 147 9mm is sub-sonic w/a full powered load. Quote Link to comment

Basically just off the road from my commute and I had seen the tanks outside a few times but they just recently reopened from remodeling (free admission). Took my youngest who is a huge military equipment nerd. We had a grand time. For the Datsun people who know this is also right by Bill's Datsun Shoppe (avoid at all costs!). dimlight65
My usual method of carrying my phone is in a little side pocket of the Dickey's shorts I normally wear. However, for those occasions when I'm wearing shorts (or pants) without a little phone pocket, I needed a different solution. Today at the gun show, I picked up a phone holster to "match" my .357 Magnum holster and speed-loader pouch... I didn't realize the speed-loader pouch was so much darker. I might try to re-stain the others to match better, because this will be my "Special Occasion" load out. I'll just use the phone holster with my normal, every day carry pistol when it's special enough to preclude the work shorts, but not super dressed up... sort of thing. Quote Link to comment
Dguy210
So...somebody talk me out of buying a PS90. We've got this retarded ass law potentially going into effect in March for purchase permits in Oregon. So I'm doing some wishlist buying now to make it easier. Note: I already have quite a bit of 5.7x28 as I have another firearm that uses that round. Edit: got to handle one at the local gun store, for how expensive they are it felt really cheap in my hands. Decided against it. Edited November 1 by Dguy210 Quote Link to comment
Fat510
LE trade ins are where the deals are. Snagged an M&P 2.0 for 317 before tax that normally go for double. 2 Quote Link to comment
