Z-train
But a .380 is a good round for the ladies. For carry. For home defense it's too light-so is a 9MM.Shotgun or .45 for the house. Quote Link to comment

yellowdatsun
I got my mossberg 500 at Big 5 about 7 years back. Just put a pistol grip on it last week. Quote Link to comment

mrbigtanker
I just love the look feel and build of these fine NEMOARMS pop guns. The above is the OMEN and the bottom is the Tango 2. 1 Quote Link to comment

dimlight65
Gun show this weekend... payday today... NOT a good combo for old Dimlight65. Better go make my car payment right now! 1 Quote Link to comment
dimlight65
I found a receiver for a Mossy 500 which makes it feed from Saiga 12 magazines... then had to buy a Mossy 500. I'm debating whether I want to tackle the install myself or pay a gunsmith. I guess I'll check out the You Tubes and see if there is a video... sort of thing. Quote Link to comment
q-tip
The Mossberg takes down to a bare receiver, I would think its a take guts out of one and put them into another. Quote Link to comment
dimlight65
The Mossberg takes down to a bare receiver, I would think its a take guts out of one and put them into another. There are quite a few bits which swap over from one bolt to the other. Watching the video, which has no sound making it somewhat difficult to follow along, I was worried. But I just grokked the new bolt in the new receiver and I think I can handle it. Besides, what's the worst that can happen? Quote Link to comment
q-tip
You have to pay a gunsmith to put it together anyway 1 Quote Link to comment
dimlight65
You have to pay a gunsmith to put it together anyway What are you, Mossberg and/or Black Aces' lawyer? I acknowledge that I SHOULD have a gunsmith do it, but I never claimed to be the sharpest bulb in the... wait, how does that go? 1 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Sounds about right, some people like a nice blunt bulb I meant it as the worst thing that could happen is you have to get a gunsmith to put it together anyway. Quote Link to comment

The NRA Store site sells the Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun takedown and reassembly instruction books in their reprints of the dissasembly and repair pages of the American Rifleman magazine. Periodically updated to include current arms. Illustrations of the arm as broken down, ID of pieces and a verbal description of the retailed dissasembly and reassembly including cautions re spring pressure etc. Give it a try.
