Llittle_Llama
You might have a Vac. leak, just a thought. I would start with that if it takes throttle to keep it running. Quote Link to comment
dat77sun
probly a vacuum leak, or maybe somethin in the carb Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
There are only a few ways to do this right, Post a picture of what you've done. Quote Link to comment
justin 620
If it's the stock Hitachi, there's probably a problem in the carb, and those ones are virtually immpossible to troouble shoot. If you've got all the smog off, you might as well go with a Weber, way more reliable. Getting rid on smog is a bitch, and like Mike said, there's only one way to do it propperly. bbqbill
i found the vac.leak.runs good now. started on the drivers side floor. Quote Link to comment
epfrz
The weber works great with the smog stuff off. I have also heard that you need to make sure the air injectors in the exhaust manifold are removed and plugged to get the engine running at its best. Quote Link to comment
