Buzzbomb
I picked up a spare loose "matchbox" today, and was wondering whether or not there is a simple resistance bench test or something to tell me if it's ok. I'm not looking to replace mine since it's fine. I just wanted to make sure I picked up a decent spare. I measured with an Ohmmeter across the green and red terminals and I get a reading of around 10 ohms or a hair under on a 20,000 ohm scale. From one of the top spades grounded to the back of the terminal, I get .89. I looked in the Factory Service Manual on OldDatsuns.com and didn't see anything that might suggest any range of readings. I searched here and didn't find anything either..Any ideas? Thanks for any help! Quote Link to comment

Buzzbomb
If you could find a few numbers for testing that matchbox module, that would be awesome! I looked all through the manual posted online, but that's for a '78, and it looks like it used a slightly different setup. Haynes doesn't have anything in there. If you are able to find any info, I'd sure appreciate it! Thanks! Quote Link to comment
