I am with skibby, I like the idea of a dash wrap. Most 620 dashes look like ass, they could at least look like better ass with a wrap. Hmmmm... Whats a dash from the JY cost?

$12.50/sq foot is actually cheaper than you can find it online ($15/sq foot)

Her shadow isn't on the fender because light reflectors were part of the setup for the photoshoot, oics of which are up on nichaulassperformance's facebook page.

well in Professional Photography we tend to use 2 flashes to eliminate shadows...

Oh and if the Carbon Wraps were so fake looking...

then it wouldn't have been featured at the past 2 Las Vegas SEMA Shows (for those of you that actually attend it every year like my crew does) Wrapped entirely on SLR McClarens, Pagani Zondas, Ferrari F430s and much more...

Sketchy guy? Or just a guy that sees what people are willing to pay money for. Why is it that a shop that does CF wrap also does ground strapping? Because the clientele are the type to spend there money on such things. I don't care really care what he is selling, he is a business man, has what appears a good business, knows his clients. As long as he doesn't rip me or my friends off all is good. He isn't sketchy, just riding the wave; people want cheap 5-10hp gain mods. He never mentioned the ground strapping here, I doubt he believes in it, and he knows that a bunch of car enthusiasts wont either, so he isn't selling that to us. Since he has posted here I have honestly given some thought to CF wrapping, though I haven't come up with anything. I'm sure others have also toyed with the idea. While his shop is too far for me, I'm sure he would be willing to answer some questions if I ever had some, and now I know someone to refer to for people in washington.

 

Don't hate the guy for selling a certain product, it isn't for you and never was. If people were paying, would you sell poo-on-a-stick?

I was just here to share my skills and knowledge. Everyone does what they do for a living, this is just one of my services but other than that I just figured I'd share my stuff for fellow datsun owners... I never came here pulling anybody's arms now lol

I also dont use Car Audio Copper Cable... that stuff rots out... I use 0/2 AWG Silver Tinned Cables... The main reason I ever even discovered this is from an old 280z I had (which alot of you Datsun Mechanics would understand the Factory Grounds are SHIT lol) over 10 years ago and I added my own custom grounding network... TRY IT!!

 

Like I said before to the rest of the Datsun community... this is my first forum I ever posted on so I know NOT to just startup with an Advertisement... LOL I didnt know?? I'm sorry and I've been informed... No matter what anyone says or opinions are... "When all else fail, Datsuns Prevail"!!

Even if it was one simple 4 gauge, that would double the factory grounding they have now.

Agreed, and you will find most of your electrical issues are due to bad grounds. This has been repeatedly stated by the King Rat and others like myself as well. I dont always see eye to eye with everyone, but his work and theory are correct. Try it and then report your results. I run 0 gauge for power and grounds, I have a 3K inverter and 1K watts in sounds, 105 Amp hour AGM under the hood and another 200 Amp hour 4 pack for long trips. Heavy power needs heavy grounds or you are just pissing in the wind.
