My old V8 datsun 510

I just spotted my old 215 v8 510 they ripped the v8 out and now its a sr car its nice to see your cars years later in good shape

the ebay car and your pic dont look like the same car....box flairs,motor,lot of body work there son....and fabbing you sure

 

notice it says his OLD 510

there was one just like this i milwaukie,OR back in the '80's when i was in High School. i never saw the owner really get on it,and had always assumed it was another chev 350, but you could FEEL the ground shake as the car got closer,passed,&went by! it was baddass! the 215 v8 was a BUICK engine. i have the 401 version of it in my '63 Riviera. they're known as "nailheads" . not the biggest HORSEPOWER engines,but MONSTER TORQUE motors. they're pretty narrow for a v8,which is one reason they're so popular with the RAT ROD folks,that and factory option dual quad carbs, lots of vintage speed equipment available,and that they look awesome all decked out!

The car is crazy now. I'm not a huge fan of flares...V-8's are kind of whack too. To each his own. :)

I almost went and put the F20c in my Datsun LOL but I couldn't give Datsun/Nissan

a smack in the face so I went with the SR20VE.

 

It's cool you got to see your car go on a life journey man. Sick.
