1972 Datsun 510 $1000

Hey all,

 

I bought a 510 and it needs body repairs and I am not sure I can do them so I am listing here to see if there is any interest for someone more skilled than I.

 

the car is in tahlequah OK, came from waco tx. I still have the original title that has yet to be signed so you could be a second owner :D. But the car needs love.

I was under the impression that the r160 diffs out of the late model scoobys would take alot of work to get the datsun axle stubs to work if at all ?

Its my understanding that they are not that much work. In fact the little bit of research I have done indicated that the company Fuji, who made the datsun reardiffs is the same company used for the reardiff. So while i havent dug into it to much i am told it isnt that much work.

 

I do not however, have any of the projected parts in the first post in that thread. I have been dealing with the guy but as of late i have had no response.

 

SO it is just the 510 in the pictures with no spare parts. It does have a motor and tranny, it does run but need battery and some gas tank cleaning. The main draw back to the car is the body imperfections.
