datzenmike
L20B: Lobe lift 0.276" Lift at valve 0.413" Duration 248 degrees Everybody measures it differently but here's the valve opening and closing sequence for the L20B cam starting at TDC compression stroke: at 126 ATDC (or 54 degrees BBDC) exhaust opens. at 344 degrees (or 16 degrees BTDC) intake opens at 374 degrees (or 14 degrees ATDC) exhaust closes. at 592 degrees (or 52 degrees ABDC) intake closes compression stroke continues for another 128 degrees to TDC or a total of 720 degrees or two full turns. Valve overlap (intake and exhaust open together) 30 degrees Naturally the valves only begin to open/close at these points in theory. Actually the valve clearance delays the opening and closes them early 2 Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
Everybody measures it differently Yep. Which means you cannot compare those Nissan specs to specs from another manufacturer. Quote Link to comment
Radim
Hehe yeah, but atleast it gives me an rough idea which is good enough, I was looking at the Isky Stg.1 wondering if it's worth a shot. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Many are measured at 0.050" lift. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Isky stag 1 is fine. Remeber you should get new Rockers and buy the lash pads retainers ect. PS just getting a cam and running a stock or Weber down draftcarb is mot going to give huge power results. Best with sidedrafts. olddatsuns.com read there fisrt Quote Link to comment
