ggzilla
Hmmm, the junkyard manifold won't take those. Link to comment
Killer Z
I have a Bob Sharps racing aluminium intake that fits 240-280 z motors. It allows the use of a squarebore carberator instead of twin carbs. Slap on a nice Holley 450 and it breathes better and less headaches. let me know if interested and i'll post some pics. Killer Z
Yeah Holleys inferiority is why drag racers all over the world are using them. 1 Link to comment

datsunaholic
Yeah Holleys inferiority is why drag racers all over the world are using them. That's because sidedrafts are kind of hard to install in the "V" of an American V-8. A 4bbl Holley is way overkill on a 4cyl engine. Link to comment

I'm BLUE
Wrong. The Holley is inferior in every measurable way. mythical bull !!! I am running a 390cfm Holley 4bbl , holley 5-9psi pressure regulator ( currently set at 5.5psi) , and a cheapy low pressure High Volume fuel pump on my 73' 240Z with a Car-Tech Manifold I have owned/ran the Dual SU's , Dual Weber DGV's , and now a Holley all previously on my L28/5-spd ! By Far as a cruiser/street engine the Holley is my favorite ( no constant tuning , electric choke , adjustable accelerator pump circuit/cams )! Many people are soooooooooo unaware of all the little things that take minutes to a couple of hours (total) to determine to set-up a Holley 4bbl , tweak 4-5 things (per engine) , and boom your done with a smooth runner !!! Much of it is Heresay ,,, most of this is what people know ,,, many fear ,,, in the end most will stick with majority or what they are use to ! That's what I did unto I stuck my feet in the 4bbl Holley pool :P BUT ! starting from scratch it would be a hard look at all options on a case by case basis Try it for yourself :P I say good day to you sir  ohhhhhhh yeah ,,, I know better than to knock something I don't know enough about in order to make an accurate , rational , and practical decision about rather than consensus based group think :D Link to comment
