Some progress on the truck. I was planning on taking it to the JCCS in a couple of weeks but the truck still is not painted. Cutting it close. I might have to take my 510 instead. Here a few more pics.

Brakes have been upgraded to disks up front. Will upgrade the rears as soon as the brakets are available.

Wow man, well done!! That's gonna be friggin' CHERRY! TBH, I like those Infinity rims though. Know what model they're off of?

These wheels are off of a 2006 Infinity QX56. 2006.infiniti.qx56.20030059-300x189.jpg. They are 18x8 I believe. They are like new. No scratches or curb rash. I will be selling these as I have another set of wheels I will be using.

what color dude? Whats It called?

I don't remember the exact name of the paint but it's made by PPG. It's very similar to the Cool Vanilla color you see on the Chrysler 300's. I will post the name once I get that information.

Thanks to all for your comments and I hope you will continue to follow this thread!

Sorry I have been side tracked with other things. I actually took the truck home Tuesday afternoon. I have not taken pictures of the finished product. Here are a few pics:

The bed is finished. Now I will have to straighten out the dents on the wheel wells.

It's been a while since I have posted any advancement on this project but it has been moving along. The first thing I did was remove the hood and fendors so they are not in the way.

One thing that was bugging me about the truck was the silver paint on the dash and headliner. I went ahead and painted over them. I don't have any good pictures of this. I will post some later.

The seats were removed as I will use a bench seat instead. The carpet is brand new so I just need to vacuum it before the seat goes in.

Pulled the engine out and cleaned the engine bay a little so I can paint it. First I added a little bit of primer then the black. It looks ok. I should have sanded it a little more. Here are some before and after pics.

Put new door glass channel felt from some Ebayer from Singapore...not happy with the product. It's too thin. The windows have a bit of play when they are rolled up. Also, put the glass in the doors. I sent the door handles to get chromed. They were not bad but a little bit of chrome would not hurt. Obviously the door panels will go in after I install the door handles.

Since I do not have the fan shroud I will not run the fan off of the water pump. Instead, I am planning on running 2 small 8" Spal fans that I had laying around. They are pullers. Anyone know if I will damage the fan if I switch polarity to make them pushers??

Nah it'll be right, ive done same a couple times. Might have trouble with fitment though :( mine fouled the water pump but they fit on backwards ok to get around that. Or you could mess about with the radiator brackets to fit it further forward under the rad support

620 looks tuff! Its cool how paint makes it look all fresh again

Thanks, Gary! I appreciate your comments. I was thinking you could do that with the fans, but I just wanted to get an opinion from someone that has done it before. I think I should have enough room between the radiator and the grill. I'll post more as it progresses.
