trainwreck
New to forum. Have a 78 620 ratsun. Pics hopefully soon. Is there anyway that you can mount a holley 350 carb to a l20b? Or is there a adapter available? thanks :D Quote Link to comment
RacnJsn95
There are some older aftermarket intake manifolds that will allow you to bolt on a holley 2bbl, or 4bbl, but they're hard to come by now... Watch on ebay for them. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Two rules... never over cam an engine, and never over carb an engine. Some slight power increase can result from a slightly larger carb, but mostly from its lower restriction so the engine doesn't have to work as hard inhaling. An L20B engine revving 6,000 RPMs and at WOT will need 211 CFM of air. Even at 8,000 RPMs it will only need 283 CFMs. I think the Weber is about that range. The Holley 350 is 350 CFM? Overkill, it won't go any faster or we'd all have Holley 1150 CFM double pumpers on our Datsuns. Quote Link to comment
RacnJsn95
Yeah... Mike is right... I would never want to put a 4bbl on an L4. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Weber 32/36 is just right. 330 CFM (2bbl-measurement). I have an adapter for L-series engine, I could be persuaded to part with it. Quote Link to comment
