the control arm bottoms out on the frame gusset before the snubber monts come together so theres no real bang but a very stiff landing on that....... I just opened the arc of the gusset up more when I removed everything basically just extended it to the frame rail where it used to stop about 1.5 inchs  down

I've been daily driving this for a little bit now and have a report on the gearing. I can do 10mph in 2ndd up to 60mph. Easily runs around town in 3rd instead of 4th gear and the freeway is a dream in 5th, which actually behaves like an overdrive gear now. So 3:54 with the matched transmission is a great setup behind the KA. :)

A couple pics I took over the weekend.

so 3.54 is the way to go eh?

i think ill still with the 3.70s and get a steeper overdrive gear!

It might be different with a different transmission, I took both from the same truck and both were listed on the tag under the hood.

right on thats great to hear. what did those 3.54's come out of.?

and of course always love picks of your trucks, looking good.!!

1983 720 Kingcab, sameish as my truck, but newer. :)

Nope, I plan on not setting the truck down on a jack stand ever again.

Before I lowered it the jack stand fit under the truck no problem, after lowering it, not so much.

Should be applying a coat of POR15 today after work if all goes well.

Thanks. You got a welder now?

I ran new high pressure rubber lines to the stock steel line. You might want to head to the local junkyard and get some of the clamps off a maxima or something, the ones they sell at the parts stores aren't as good.

The shiny one is factory Nissan and the black one is from shmucks/oreally?

I put an inline pump near the tank, with a filter between it and the tank. I also have a filter at the intake. I can get a pic when I start working back there.

What size rubber fuel line did you use? How did you overcome the size difference between the 240 lines and the 620 lines?

I used 5/16 fuel injection specific fuel line. It clamps up well to the 620 stuff if you use the Nissan clamps.
