It will sit at a funny angle, and put excess stress on the rear mount (which will be off by 15 degrees or so), but will make letting the passenger shift more convenient (since the shifter will likewise be off by the said 15 degrees). Also the speedo cable might not be installable due to interference with the torsion bar, and the clutch slave will be in a somewhat more exposed location. But, it's been done. Quote Link to comment
